Yooperlite (a Sodalite) from Upper Michigan 3 1/4 inches 2.1Sph2166

Yooperlite (“Yooper”, “Laker”) from Upper Michigan at the Lake Superior Shoreline. This is a Sodalite. 81mm  2.1Sph2166  3 1/4 inches  This is fluorescent material that is fluorescent pink under shortwave ultraviolet very light, and yellow under long wave. Taken under UV and transmitted light. Best seen with strong lights.
